Franck Matellini is a creative director at NonStopProd for commercial projects, but also dabbles in film-making in his spare time.

In the video above he shows how much Paris and New York City are alike and different by splitting the screens in half and showing footage from Paris on the left and New York City on the right. It’s a unique way to view these busy cities in their natural state. The shot selections, time lapses, and the interaction of the subjects help show the difference and similarities between these two wonderful cities.

Matellini shot this video on a Canon 5D Mark III in collaboration with OpenSkies, which specializes in Paris-New York trips. It was even selected for Vimeo’s Staff Picks. Great stuff!
